We welcome you to our regional website,
which is to provide improved communications to you as members, visitors and
hopefully future members to our society. Clan MacLeod has many websites
established on the internet. We provide you
the links so you can easily visit them. We will try not to repeat
information listed on those sites.
However, they do provide excellent
information of the clan history,
genealogy, tartans, and even some music is
recorded.
We are dedicating this website for you.
We would like to ask you for some input, suggestions,
criticisms, and comments on, HOW WE ARE DOING! What better way for you
to be able to join in on the information that will be displayed? We will be
happy to post any of your family related news, photo’s, birthday’s,
anniversaries, weddings, parades, pipe bands, pipers and drummers
information. You name it; anything related to our extended family will be
screened and then posted, if it will give some news of an event or some
happening with-in our region and on the borders of our region. Updating
information and fast communication is our key to this website
We will be posting any and all
information from our national society and from the Associated Clan MacLeod
Societies in Scotland in between the publishing of the newsletters which are
mailed to all members. Receiving these publications are some of the
advantages of being a member of the society.
We also are providing the application
form for membership to the society. Please take the time to look it over and
I invite you to take the opportunity to join our extended family. I am sure
you'll find it worthwhile. We are quite active in this region of providing clan
related items for sale and we have a sales page setup with an order form that
you can reproduce and send it on to me to fill the order.
Look over our events page, changes to
that page will be maintained and up to date, so you can be well informed of
anything happening in the region and in surrounding regions. Please visit our
regional officers page so you can contact those that would be close to your
area for any questions. The photo pages will be quite extensive, so look
them over and we welcome any photos that you would like posted.. Last but not
least, will be our regional newsletter, which is named the ‘Tri-State
Tartan”. Again, I WELCOME YOU!
Hold Fast,
ROBERT E.
